The SelfTec 16 is a self-regulating heating cable that proves itself as an advanced frost protection system. It will effectively protect valves, pipes, actuators and gutters. Heating cables increase their heating power when the temperature of the heated system drops and reduce it when the temperature rises. Power changes only in places where the temperature changes. Due to their structure, heating cables can cross or touch each other and are not at risk of local overheating. Self-regulating cables require a cable end and connection to the power cable, for this use EC-PRO and ECM25-PRO assembly kits.
