The heating cable with a built-in FreezeTec thermostat was designed to protect valves and pipes during even the coldest winter. Installation is quick and hassle-free. Thanks to the use of a thermostat, the system does not require control. With FreezeTec heating cables you do not have to worry about valves and water pipes outside the building and unheated rooms. The construction of the cable is multi-stranded, and the cable is also shielded and has a two-core cable. Control by a bimetallic thermostat that turns on at 3 ° C and turns off at 10 ° C.

Application

The heating cable is designed to protect valves, pipes up to a diameter of 50 mm and water meters. Used in insulated installations that are prone to freezing. The cable is installed on the pipe under the insulation. The FreezeTec system is only used when the following conditions are met:

  • minimum ambient temperature -25 ° C
  • the internal diameter of the protected pipe does not exceed DN 50 mm
  • the temperature of the protected pipe does not exceed 65 ° C
  • insulation thickness on pipes 10-20 mm
