Product use

It is designed for fixing thermal insulation boards made of foamed polystyrene, mineral wool and phenolic foam to mineral substrates and making a mesh reinforced layer. The mortar is also used for making thin-layer plaster reinforced with mesh on ordinary and critical substrates. The product can be used to fill cavities and crevices and to level the surface. The mortar is also suitable for fixing light architectural details, e.g. decorative profiles. Product recommended in solutions with trade names weber.therm COLOR, weber.therm LAMBDA.

Substrate preparation

The mortar can be used at least two days after gluing insulation boards. The surface of the panels should be even and dusted. It is necessary to install corner strips, expansion profiles and reinforcing mesh in the corners of the holes. In the case of making a reinforcing layer on foam boards, which have been exposed for a long time to UV rays, they should be wiped in order to tear off the weathered and swollen layer.
