Element strengthening the liquid waterproofing system Siplast Elastic Fast PUR Sealant.

Scope of Application

Siplast Elastic Fast PUR Sealer used between two layers is used to strengthen the waterproofing of all vertical and horizontal joints at attics, firewalls, corners, balcony insulation, terrace, loggia as well as hard to reach places. It is resistant to cracking, which eliminates the need for additional reinforcement of the element in insulated. Thanks to its construction, it easily adapts to any type of substrate. The dimensions of the tape can be adjusted to the insulated element as needed by trimming or joining the tapes along the width.

Method of use

Before applying Siplast Elastic Fast PUR Sealant, check the condition of the substrate, remove all dirt and loose elements that reduce adhesion. After opening the container with Siplast Elastic Quick PUR Sealant, the product should be mixed thoroughly, do not heat the product. The mass is applied to the cleaned, matted surface without priming (in the case of bituminous tar paper, the topping can be removed to the width of the reinforcing system polyamide tape with a relative stretch of 600%) using a roller or brush. In the case of tight insulation, the first layer (0.9 kg / m2) should be installed along the vertical and horizontal edges of the sealed element in a Flexible Polyamide Reinforcing Tape and pressed against the ground. Then after approx. 4-6 hours depending on the ambient temperature lay a second layer of mass (0.7 kg / m2). The substrate is considered sufficiently dry if the coating does not get dirty when touched. For the resulting waterproof coating, to protect it against UV radiation, you can use the topping used for bituminous felt (2 kg / m2) or use a varnish with real liquid aluminum Silver Primer Fast Varnish SBS (0.2 l / m2).
