H-type chimney cap is a device that uses the kinetic energy of the wind to support the chimney draft and protect ventilation ducts against rain, snow and wind. Produces a favorable pressure system conducive to the movement of air in the chimney flue.

The flap version enables cleaning and maintenance of the cable without removing the attachment. The attachment is mounted on gravitational ventilation outlets.

Application

  • to support gravitational exhaust ventilation
  • when there are air swirls at the chimney outlet caused by its unfavorable location
  • with unfavorable terrain configuration, strong and frequent winds (wind zone II and III)
  • when there is no stabilized chimney draft or it is too small.
