Products description

The PAROC InVent panel is covered on one or both sides with a G9 glass fiber lining (black) or a glass veil (N1- white, N3- black). It is designed for acoustic and thermal insulation of duct in ventilation, plenum boxes, filling of slotted silencer in acoustic, screen in, cassettes and sound absorbing panels as well as internal sound insulation in ventilation devices. PAROC InVent panels can be used to dampen the ventilation duct from the inside. This solution allows to eliminate the silencer in the acoustic system and, additionally, in the case of conducting the duct in the outside of buildings, avoids the need for an additional insulation jacket. InVent boards with G9 coating combine the best features of hitherto used in products intended for acoustic coatings. These are very good sound absorption coefficients and sound absorption classes comparable with a traditional veil and high surface resistance to mechanical damage. In addition, they successfully passed tests aimed at testing the sample's resistance to fungi and bacteria carried out according to EN ISO 846 "Assessment of microorganisms' impact on plastics", carried out at INSTITUT FUR LUFTHYGIENE in Berlin. The study examined whether the material was indifferent to the microorganism and whether it could serve as fungi or bacteria. As a result of tests, PAROC InVent panels with G9 coating were classified as suitable for use in HVAC installations.

Strength

  • Unchanging thermal resistance over time / degradation: The thermal conductivity of a mineral wool product is unchanged over time, years of experience have shown that the structural fibers are stable and that there are no gases other than atmospheric air in the pores of the product.
