EXTRA GRUNT is a modern primer for highly absorbent and porous substrates, combining the features of an ordinary primer and a deep primer.

Application

The use of primer allows for the strengthening and sealing effect of both the surface and the interior of the pores in the building material. Especially recommended for priming drywall, concrete, aerated concrete, gypsum, cement and cement-lime plaster under paints, adhesives, gypsum coats and other leveling coats.

  • odorless, non-flammable, solvent free
  • after drying, it forms a coating that increases the adhesion of adhesive masses and other surfacing masses to the surface
  • increases scratch resistance
  • regulates the absorbency of the substrate and the exchange of water vapor
  • reduces the consumption of paints for painting

Method of use

EXTRA GRUNT is used once, undiluted. A well-mixed preparation should be evenly applied to the substrate with a brush, paint roller or spray, ensuring its even distribution. On very absorbent substrates, the priming can be repeated on a still moist substrate. Substrate temperature should be above +5 C. Drying time on the substrate: from 6 to 24 hours.

Performance

Consumption of EKSTRA GRUNT primer depends on the absorbency of the substrate - 1 liter is sufficient for priming about 7-10 m2 of surface.

Storage

Store in a place not exposed to sunlight, protect against freezing. Shelf life 12 months.
