It is very resistant to crushing, high embossing provides increased drainage capacity. In addition, it creates a layer of thermal and sound insulation. It is resistant to acid, alkali, solvent, bacteria, fungus and plant roots.

GEO 20 drainage foundation foil is used as vertical insulation of foundation walls, recommended especially for works carried out at great depths, e.g. in the construction of underground railways, underground garages and tunnels and other similar buildings, where it has a protective and drainage function. Thanks to the high embossing profile, it creates a larger drainage surface compared to classic embossing products. It works perfectly when securing an object in which the lack of space does not allow the formwork to be erected - it acts as a so-called the formwork is lost and built between the shotcrete layer and the final concrete wall. Used as horizontal insulation in deep-rooted buildings, where there is a risk of periodic flooding with subcutaneous water. In such cases, it is laid with a slope between the foundation slab and the screed or concrete screed.
