Products description

The draft generator is a chimney cowl mounted on top of a ventilation, combustion or smoke chimney (only wood-fired boilers). Its task is to increase and stabilize the chimney draft regardless of the height, cross-section of the chimney, wind or other external factors. The draft generator creates a vacuum in the chimney flue by using a physical phenomenon - injection. It consists in creating a negative pressure in the main chimney duct by creating an air stream in the secondary duct. The air flow is generated by a fan located outside the chimney flue. This method of operation does not block the chimney and also provides the device with high temperature resistance. The attachment is mounted on chimney outlets, especially in single-family housing.

Application

for draft support in flue and smoke chimneys (only wood-fired boilers)
when there are air swirls at the chimney outlet caused by its unfavorable location
with unfavorable terrain configuration, strong and frequent winds
when the flue pipe is short or its diameter is small

The main function of the roof is protection against rain and snow. However, thanks to the unique design, it not only blocks the exhaust from the generator, but significantly supports draft in blowing wind. The roof has an openable lid that allows easy access to the chimney without removing the base or using tools.
