Centerflex - Mid Flex tape

The MID-FLEX tape is perfect for joining gypsum plasterboards in internal corners and external corners, irreplaceable when joining a roof to a wall. The tape straightens, straightens and stiffens complicated, hard-to-lead inner corners and outer corners of the walls and ceiling in angles of any degree of opening.

Method of use

1. Cut the tape to the correct length and cut the end of the sockets at an angle of 45 degrees.
2. Fold the tape along the inscriptions inwards, then apply the side without the inscription to the wall.
3. To glue, apply gypsum compound, then place the MID-FLEX tape at its destination, pressing it against the inner corner or outer corner.
4. Adjust the tape so as to create a straight horn line on the crease.
5. Remove excess gypsum with a spatula, leaving no bubble in the air under the tape.
6. Cover the glued tape with a thin layer of gypsum, about 1 mm thick, aligning with the wall, let it dry.
7. In the case of a corner in the interior? do not fill the corner with gypsum mass after installing the tape. This will keep the horny line straight.
8. If necessary, apply the gypsum mass again and let it dry.
9. Identify inequality with sandpaper, graded at least 180.
10. Sand the inside of the tape with the edge of the bent sandpaper.

Additional tips

1. Use ready-made gypsum masses and gypsum powders.
2. Carefully mix them with water to not too thick consistency, so that there are no lumps.
3. Adjust the right amount of gypsum to ensure gluing and filling and free squeezing of excess mass.
4. Avoid air bubbles.
