Product use

Insulation boards are used to insulate buildings in complex thermal insulation systems of external walls of buildings (ETICS method). For use on building facades in newly built and renovated buildings. The product is recommended in the solution weber.therm LAMBDA.

Substrate preparation

Weber PH930 (Kooltherm K5) phenolic foam insulation boards can be glued to all kinds of mineral substrates, e.g. concrete, reinforced concrete prefabricated elements, bricks, ceramic blocks, silicate, concrete, expanded clay, aerated concrete, natural stones, mineral plaster, etc. with mortar KS113 weber adhesive, weber KS123 adhesive and putty mortar, or KS126 weber adhesive and putty mortar (max Serpo 410). These substrates should be stable, sound and dry, not greasy, not frozen, free of dust, free from efflorescence in salt and loose parts. Before starting work, the entire wall surface should be washed with water under pressure. Plaster fragments with poor adhesion should be removed and repaired with weber mortar KS113.
