Lightweight sandwich panels are constructions composed of rational materials and construction and insulation - construction materials selected in a rational way and suitably connected to each other. They consist of outer layers (linings) with high mechanical properties in a continuous connection with the middle layer (core) with negligible bent stiffness, but with favorable thermal insulation.

In addition to curtain walls and roofs, sandwich panels are used as:

  • partition walls - in industrial facilities and cold stores,
  • suspended ceilings - in the facilities as above,
  • load-bearing walls - in small transportable cold stores, buildings will provide support for buildings in

Such a wide range of use results from their advantages, which include, among others:

  • low unit weight (reduced transport intensity)
  • possibility of assembly regardless of weather conditions
  • assembly without heavy equipment (cranes with low load capacity)
  • ease of disassembly and reassembly, e.g. in the event of a change in production technology or the purpose of the halls
  • high level of sound insulation (panels with a mineral wool core)
  • high fire resistance (especially boards with mineral wool core and PIR polyurethane foam)
  • high level of thermal insulation (especially boards with a rigid PUR / PIR polyurethane foam core)
