Application

Mapeflex PU45 is used to fill expansion joints in the walls and floors of internal and external garages, a warehouse, a supermarket and a shopping center. It can also be used to join various materials, it has excellent adhesion to stone, brick, plaster, metal. Mapeflex PU45 is a one-component, flexible, fast-hardening thixotropic polyurethane-based mass, easy to apply on vertical and horizontal surfaces using a gun or putty knife. Due to its good adhesion to the substrate, there is no need for a primer. However, in the case of absorbent substrates and when expansion joints are exposed to liquids or subjected to stress during operation, it is recommended to use Primer AS. For non-absorbent substrates, such as steel, aluminum, copper, ceramics, glass, galvanized sheet, primer M. Mapeflex PU45 is recommended to be classified in accordance with ISO 11600 as F-25-LM.
