Scope of Application

Bitumex Protector is designed for sealing, filling cracks (up to 1 cm) during renovation in bituminous coatings. Method of use

Filled, sealed surfaces should be clean and dry. Before application, repair work should be carried out, blisters and folds in bituminous asphalt roofing felt must be removed. The contents of the package should be mixed, applied with a putty knife or trowel in thin layers, tightly filling the defects. Each subsequent layer should be applied after the previous one has dried. The last layer can be sprinkled with mineral sprinkles. Coatings should be made in rainless weather at a temperature of min. 5 ° C.

Storage

Store in original packaging in an upright position, in rooms protected from sunlight, ventilated, away from sources of heat and fire.

Performance

It depends on the type of sealings made, the type of substrate and the application temperature.
