Products description

Liquid film is a preparation based on dispersion of plastics, which after curing produces a tight and flexible coating.

Application

The product is intended for protecting mineral building surfaces against water ingress. Works great as light insulation on wall and floor surfaces before placing tiles in rooms exposed to permanent humidity, such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, and baths. Due to its properties, it can also be used outside the building in balconies and terraces - however, in this case it is required to cover the layer with a facing, e.g. made of ceramic tiles. The product is not suitable for applications requiring high load resistance, e.g. swimming pool basin insulation.

Method of use

Before applying the preparation, repair the surfaces, clean them from dirt, dust, grease, oil and grease, and then prime with EKSTRA GRUNT. Leave to dry (6-24h). Mix the contents of the package thoroughly. Apply foil evenly, undiluted, using a brush, paint roller or trowel in a min. in two layers. Apply subsequent layers after the previous layer dries, i.e. after approx. 3 hours. The recommended total layer thickness is from 1 to 3 mm. The tiles can be glued 24 hours after applying the last layer. Substrate and ambient temperature during work: +5 C to +30 C.
