Ceresit CT 17 is used for priming indoor and outdoor surfaces before fixing ceramic tiles, pouring floors, filling, painting or fixing thermal insulation boards. The primer does not contain solvent. Primed CT 17 substrates (all types of plasters, concretes, screeds) have less water absorption, which prevents the drying of adhesive mortars, floors, putties or paints too quickly. The preparation penetrates the ground and binds aggregate grains, however, it does not increase the strength parameters in the entire cross-section of the ground. The use of CT 17 is particularly recommended for gypsum, anhydrite and aerated concrete substrates. It is also suitable for priming chipboard and untreated plasterboard.
