Centerflex - střední páska

MEDIUM tape is used to connect gypsum plasterboards in internal corners and on flat surfaces in place of mesh, interlining, paper tape and paper tape with an aluminum insert. The tape straightens, straightens and stiffens complicated, hard-to-lead inside corners of the walls and ceiling at any angle of opening. MEDIUM is used in places exposed to moisture, where the paper tape could be damaged, e.g. near bathtubs and showers in.

Method of use

1. Cut the tape to the correct length and cut the end of the sockets at an angle of 45 degrees.
2. In the case of a corner in the inside, bend the tape lengthwise (inscriptions inwards), then gently straighten.
3. To stick, apply gypsum paste, then place MEDIUM tape in the destination.
4. Adjust in the inner corner to create a straight corner line on the fold of the tape.
5. Squeeze excess gypsum mass with a spatula, leaving no bubble in the air under the tape.
6. Cover the glued tape with a thin layer of gypsum, about 1 mm thick, aligning with the wall, let it dry.
7. For a corner in the interior - do not fill the corner with gypsum mass after installing the tape. This will keep the horny line straight.
8. If necessary, apply the gypsum mass again and let it dry. 9. Find unevenness with sandpaper, graded at least 180.
9. Sand the inside of the tape with the edge of the bent sandpaper.

Additional tips

1. Use ready-made gypsum masses and gypsum powdered. Carefully mix them with water to not too thick consistency, so that there are no lumps.
2. Adjust the right amount of gypsum to ensure gluing and filling and free squeezing of excess mass.
3. In the case of a corner in the inside - bend the tape wider than the angle of opening the corner requires. This will make the tape stick better to the wall.
